Dug

I dreamt these guys. They are spiders that convergently [dream logic here] evolved into dog-like creatures. Their pedipalps became scythes, and they can extend their legs held under the 'dog-skin'. About the size of a large bulldog, they make a low honking noise, and are actually very timid.
